RE: blank page
Hi Jayne,
If i'm stuck on a particular part of a story or just can't get started then I write about something else entirely. I think as long as you write something you can eventually get over it. Fiona is right as well, brain storming with someone else stimulates your own creativity!
I took some photos and put them up on the web as little 'prompts' to get people going when they are stuck for something to write and I actually call the page 'Writer's Block'.

Hope it helps - it's aimed more at adults but you can use pictures to stimulate your mind for any story obviously.
