What makes us so different
With bullying amongst our kids so prevalent, and suicide on the increase. It's important that we start at home by teaching our kids, that whilst we may well look differently, underneath we are really the same. It's of perative importance, that we teach them, that there are people who look differently, walk differently, who has different hopes and inspiration, but has the same goal. The price we pay for standing by our men.
With the constant and ever increasing news reports about women being abused or being battered to death by their violent partners. I find myself asking these questions. Why do we stay? Do we feel less valued without a man? Do we not love ourselves enough to feel we deserve better? The truth is, the reasons for staying, is different for every woman, who has ever find themselves in such a situation. For the rest of us, who have never been in such a predicament. We will never understand why.
