Would Appreciate Feedback Please
Hello,
If you have a few moments to spare, I would appreciate constructive comments on my website. It has now been running for a year in it's present format and I have been 'relatively' pleased with results.
BUT, as I'm completely self taught, there is always more I can do, just not sure where to do it!
Thank you in advance
Susie

Feedback for your site
Hi Susie - just spotted your posting and as I've just designed my own website (& know how useful it is to get feedback), I thought I'd drop you a note. I have just updated details on BT T'space and decided to 'do it properly'!
So your website - here are my thoughts (sorry, am a list person :)
1. I think your site is well laid out and you can navigate it easily. There are plenty of buttons to go to specific areas, which is good.
2. I think you have a lot of good piccies, however some of the backgrounds (white) have shadows, which is distracting and it looks as though you have got your digital camera out and done it yourself. Nothing wrong with doing it yourself, but I think you could either shoot in good light, use a plain flat white background, or use a plain black background (like a piece of black card). Something that doesn't create shadow or shine. I think it just needs a bit of tweeking.
2. The other point I would make is about your home page. For me, it's too wordy and the benefits of Fair Trade get lost. I understand that we have 7 secs to make an impression and people either start nosing around, or they're off! How about reducing the number of words, using some bullet points and really stating quite clearly what you want to say.
Anyway, Susie I do like your site - love the idea of building a helicopter from wood!!, and it is good, but I think it could be even better. Just my 2p-worth and hope it's helpful.
