Vegan gnocchi recipe/sauce

'Recipe' is rather over-stating the case but I invented an easy and tasty way of serving ready-made gnocchi the other day.

Cook the gnocchi according to pack instructions but chuck in some washed baby spinach or chopped up grown-up spinach in the water with it.

When it's cooked, drain as usual.

Add black pepper; a knob of vegan spread (e.g. 'Pure'); a glug of olive oil (hey, I didn't say this wasn't fattening, did I?!) Then add as much vegan parmesan (e.g. 'Parmazano') as you like - c'mon you don't have cheesy stuff very often do you?

I'm sure you could be healthier and omit the spread and use just olive oil but I am the inventor of this and I fancied a buttery taste that day.

Serve and chow down.

I'd say this 'recipe' serves about 3 people as a side dish but I am very greedy (and now pregnant and eating for two) so best to make it and make your own mind up!
