Great idea for a community!
I'm one of the Tradespace team and I'm particularly interested in ethical businesses so thought I'd join this community and see what you're up to.

The main tip is to keep your Tradespace site fresh and engagaging: keep your blog up to date with interesting posts, add photos and videos - this will help search engines find you as well as increasingly the likelihood of your Tradespace appearing in the best positions on the homepage and category/channel pages.
Also, make sure your 'About us' description, tag line and keywords are relevant and clear about what your business provides - another good way to help search engines find you.
We've got a set of 'How to..' guides coming out in the next week or so, e.g. How to blog, How to podcast, How to write good online copy. When they're up and running I'll point you in the right direction.
We'll also be looking for Tradespace members to contribute articles about their area of expertise (we'll credit them and link to their Tradespace). So if you're up for that please let me know!

Somewhere to put money aside for energy efficient light bulbs; to plant a tree; buy a composter etc.
