in all seriousness, the key to sucess is, always spend twice as much as you want  to,   don't buy anything in one of these sales that are on, cos she's already seen all that tat and would have bought it all if she wanted it.

don't buy anything domestic for the house, definatly no hoovers or food mixers.

remember what you think is gorgeous lingere is tarty and distastful in her eyes, and only fit for a h***'s draws, seek careful advice if going the underwear route,

Women love big rocks, no.............  I mean Diamonds and Saffires,  Amber, Garnets, Amethist etc

big cuddly toys are a good extra,   last year i was treated to a whole day at the Spa, massage, pamper, sauna, hot tub........that was a great pressie, loved it
