SEO is search engine optimisation
It is a method of making sure your site is sticking to the requierments for being found i9n search engines, to have your site optimised you need to make sure you have the correct meta tags etc and they are in the correct placce on your site, I am not sure of the proper and tech jargon for this stuff, but is does improve your rankings in such as google
