RE: frustrated

Hi Trisha,   Have just visited your website, apologies now if this appears a little harsh but would rather be honest with you.  I had the same problem with my site and it was only a close friend of mine and a few of the guys on here that were brutally honest with me, but I have seen a marked improvement in both the number of visitors and also the number of pages they visit on my site.   When I first arrived at your site I was bombarded with information and found it a little strange that I had to scroll down to the bottom of the page to see any images.  My home page was way too text heavy, so I litterally has to drill down the info I wanted to put on there, not so much to tell the visitor everything I thought they may need to know, but more to entice them to look further on the site.    Stick your special offers on there,everyone loves a bargain, but I would also show a few more examples of your higher end goods.   One thing I would definately suggest taking off (or at least re-wording) would be    We dont claim to have the cheapest prices but we think we are competitive.   I would also create a seperate page for FAQ's and place your info in relation to the definition of refurbishment etc on there.   There are quite a few gramatical and spelling errors throughout the page.   On your Header, is there any reason why you have the http:// on there?  Personally I would be inclinded to ditch it as I really think your new company name is rather catchy!  Why not try something like Welcome to LaptopLand       A Laptop For Every Budget   Repositioning your Live Chat button further up the page (perhaps under the Safebuy logo?), placing a hyperlink for visitors to email you and displaying the main contact telephone number should be made clear as not available at mo.   Anyway, hope this helps and that I haven't offended you, but as I say, it wasn't until somebody had the balls to do the same for me that I actually started seeing results from my site.   Anything else I can ...
