Are you making the most of your Tradespace links?
Hi,
This is my first topic since joining Tradespace (yesterday).
As well as the community opportunities Tradespace gives me, a reason I joined is that it helps build links to my external website and increase my ranking in Google search results.
As I've read a number of topics and replies I've noticed most people don't make the most of the ability to link from Tradespace to their external website.
You don't want to annoy people by stuffing every post with your links. Instead pick a keyword and link that either in context in your post or after your name.
Linking a keyword rather than your website name is important. Using myself as an example:
I run SatchelsAndBags.com. If I only link that, then Google will rank me higher for anyone searching for 'satchelsandbags' - which will be very low volume.
However, I know there is a good volume of searches for laptop backpack and I want to appear high up these search results. If I am talking about laptop backpacks (as I am here) then I link those words to the backpack page on my website.
For all other posts, I add 'Laptop backpack' after my name and link it there so it's not in the way - as you can see below.
I hope this helps.
Regards
David
