Fair Deal for Enterprise
Start ups, self employed and micro enterprise owners comprise 1 in 7 of the adult workforce. Most run our own enterprises as the best, and sometimes the only way of earning a living. We're providing more new jobs than any other sector and are growing whilst big is bust. Big and bigger than us gets all the government support and dosh. This community is about influencing change in government policies so that we have a fair chance of starting, surviving and thriving and enterprise being treated by government as 'proper' jobs and careers.

Shadow Business Minister Mark Prisk - Will he help enterprise?
The last five years has seen all the £billions of government skills and support money go to help the 3% of businesses with more than 10 employees.
When start ups, self employed and micro enterprise owners have been promised help most of the money goes to the staff of the government agencies.
The Conservative party say that they'll change this because they understand business - proper mentors that have got the small business owner tea shirt, fewer payroll taxes in first two years to encourage small biz owners to take on people and most of all enabling us to choose from the private sector who we want to help us rather than govt bods.
Will they deliver? What else should we ask them to do - if they get in??

What would be a fair deal for self employed...
give me your views and I promise I'll get them to the Shadow Business Minister. We may just stop government wasting our time after the election and really help enable an enterprise friendly society where earning a living from starting and running your own business is recognised as a 'proper job'.
