I think that in general, you are right about people getting on to network groups as a way of advertising their businesses cheaply. However I think that if a serious business person who is seeking cheap advertising finds an opportunity within the network that is (a) Credible (b) Suited to his/her business aspirations (3) Within his budget (4) Likely to make money for his/her business, such an opportunity would warrant a second look.
