There are lots of ways to contribute on BT Tradespace.
For example:
- Creating your own Tradespace site
- Writing a review
- Commenting on a blog post
- Engaging in a community
- Promoting an event
In order to ensure all our members and guests enjoy the best possible experience
every time they visit, we have created a simple set of house rules. These should
be followed at all times and especially when contributing content to the site.
General rules
- Be respectful and courteous: While we can’t always be in agreement with each other
insults, ridiculing, flaming and racism will not be tolerated. Please refrain from
publishing:
- Language of an offensive or sexual nature
- Criminal accusations, slander or libellous content
- Blasphemous, racist or defamatory comments
- Threats against the personal safety or property of others
- No illegal or offensive content: This includes sexually explicit or violent material
and content which condones or encourages unlawful activity or that which could endanger
the safety or well-being of others. Content protected by copyright should not be
published without the explicit agreement of the owner.
- No spam please: Keyword spamming is where multiple irrelevant words or phrases are
published; or where communities, events and Tradespace sites are created, with the
sole intention of attempting to improve search engine rankings. This is prohibited
anywhere on BT Tradespace as it has a negative impact on the experience of others.
- Keep it real: Please do not post information or content which you know to be false
or incorrect or attempt to impersonate someone else (unless of course you are a
professional impersonator and doing so for comic effect!).
- Keep it relevant: Please do not post content which has no relevance to the context
in which it is placed. This includes off-topic blog and community posts and comments.
- Respect individuals privacy: Please do not publish personal details about individuals
such as names, addresses, contact details, bank details etc. Only information in
the public domain about your business should be posted on your Tradespace site such
as business address, contact details and associates.
The BT Tradespace team reserves the right to remove any content that we believe
contravenes our house rules.
It’s impossible for us to monitor every piece of content generated by the users
of this site, so we encourage all members and guests to help us enforce these rules.
If you spot anything which you believe breaks these rules please, let us know by
using the ‘Report a concern’ link visible on the footer of every page.
